My Dad Thomas Restorick or known as Tommy was a hard working man who i dont really remember having a day off of work.He was born in Glasgow in 1936 & moved down to Corby when he was 15.He joined the RAF and it was when he was home on leave that he met my mum Mary Adams.They fell in love & married going on to have 3 girls Tanya Velda & myself.My dad started to get poorly at the end of 1991 & he went to seek medical advice & it was discovered that his kidneys were not functioning properly & in the February of 1993 he went into hospital to have a small operation to insert a tube so he could have treatment done but he had a heart attack & was put into intensive care but passed away on good friday of that year.I miss my dad alot even thou we use to argue but it didnt mean i didnt love him any less.Now your reunited with your wife Mary,daughter Velda,grandson Adam & grandaughter Caitlin xxxxxxx

Thinking of my wonderful Dad today on the anniversary of his passing.....I miss you so much Dad (even the stupid arguements).You was part of my life for 20 years and 8 months and i wish that it could have been so much longer.I think of you all the time as i do of Mum,Velda,Adam and Caitlin....It seems like i have lost so much in the last 17 years but from all the heartache i have grown stronger and i hope that you all are proud of what i have done.I was so lucky to have you as my Dad and i wouldnt have changed you for the world ...Love and miss you so much xxxxx

Footprints In The Sand x
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My child, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

for each of those shinning stars there is a angel there.
As Christmas is approaching we remember each day
our very special angels that we have loved and lost.
You are forever in our thoughts that leads us to the pain
of knowing that your far away but always in our hearts.

Lord, in this hour I need you, more than words could ever tell.
I feel as if I'm stranded on shores between heaven and hell...
I know you haven't left me, yet my heart feels void of hope.
I feel as if I'm hanging on an old and thread worn rope...
I feel as if my hearts been torn from the breast from which it came.
And sunshine will no longer fill my life, only clouds of darkness and rain...
I know this will pass,

A Bend In The Road
♥ღ♥ When we feel we have nothing left to give
and we are sure that the song has ended,
When our day seems over and the shadows fall
and the darkness of night has descended,
Where can we go to find the strength
to valiantly keep on trying?
Where can we find the hand that will dry
the tears that the heart is crying?
There's but one place to go and that is to God,
and dropping all pretense and pride,
We can pour out our problems without restraint
and gain strength with Him at our side.
